(1) Whether the character of the parties in the case is good or bad should not be taken as evidence. But if the character of a party has to be determined by the court, the matter related to his character should be taken as evidence.
(2) In cases where a person should not reveal something according to section 41, 43 or 45, even if he reveals something, it should not be accepted as evidence.
(3) If a party does not submit a document ordered by the court to be submitted by that party, the document cannot be submitted as evidence in the case without the permission of the other party or the court.
(4) In addition to the things specifically mentioned in this section, no other thing that cannot be taken as evidence according to this Act or other prevailing laws of Nepal shall be taken as evidence.
